What we collect

• Enquiries: your name, email, phone number and message when you contact us about a property or in general.
• Property alerts: your email and the search criteria you choose, so we can email you matching listings.
• Saved properties: stored only in your browser on your device; this list is not sent to us.
• Technical data: standard server and security logs from our hosting provider.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiries and arrange viewings.
• To send the property alerts you have asked for, until you unsubscribe.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.

Legal basis

We rely on your consent for property alerts (which you can withdraw at any time), and on taking steps at your request and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries about our portfolio.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the service: Airtable (listing and enquiry records), Resend (sending email), and Cloudflare (hosting and security). They process data on our instructions. We never sell your data.

Retention

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and our records, and alert subscriptions until you unsubscribe. We then delete or anonymise the data.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. To exercise these, email hello@hyliving.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
